Left Camp Polk for Camp Kilmer, NJ at 1247 hours.

28 October 1944

Arrived Camp Kilmer at 1500 hours.

6 November 1944

Entrained at Camp Kilmer at 1140, arrived NYPE 1250 hours.

7 November 1944

Sai1ed at 1140 enroute overseas, destination unknown.

18 November 1944

Arrived Bristol Bay, England awaiting incoming tide to tie up.

19 November 1944

landed at Newport, 'England,' enroute to Tidworth.

20 November 1944

Stationed at Tidworth on Sa1isbury Plain to draw equipment.

4 January 1945

Left Tidworth at 0650 for staging area at Chickerel1, arrived Chickere11 at 1900 hours. Slept in tents, no fires.

5 January 1945

Departed Chickere11 for Portland, England and Boarded LSTs. Weymouth is main part of city. Company split up and traveled in different sections and times.

6 January 1945

Left England bound for France.

7 January 1945

Arrived LeHavre, France, disembarked from ships and drove to St. Hel1ier, France.

9 January 1945

Left St. Hellier for Rheims, France at 2340 hours. Weather cold, snowing, blowing, and extremely slick. roads. Tanks had rough going most of the way. .

10 January 1945

Arrived 3 miles southeast of Sept Saulx, 12 miles southeast of Rheims. Bivouaced in woods with about 6 or 8 inches of snow, no pup-tents as ground was too frozen, very cold.

12 January 1945

Left Sept Sau1x bivouac at 0915, bivouaced 25 miles west of Verdun, in open field, weather, cold and snow quite deep.

13 January 1945

Left area west of Verdun 0230, arrived Morvil1e-Sur-Sie11e, 5 mi1es east of Pont-a-Mousson at 1000. Worst part of trip, severe cold, high wind and lots of snow.

3 February 1945

Departed from Morvi11e-Sur-Sie11e at 0430 enroute~to vicinity Longuyon, and Longway, France, Ar1on, Neufchateau, " St. Hubert, Marche and Leige, Belgium.

4 February 1945

Arrived Vi1t Holland at 1130.

19 February 1945

Departed Vi1t at 1125, arrived Hingen, out of Echt, Holland at 1405. Battalion here relieved British Tank Brigade and was in first action. Division in 9th Army and battalion acted as holding force pending Roer offensive.

28 February 1945

Big push started. Left Hingen, Holland 0525, arrived at Hucke1hoven, Germany at 2130 hours. Driving for Rhine.

1 March 1945

Left Hucke1hoven, Germany at 0505, arrived Gerderhahn, Germany at 0645.

2 March 1945

Left Gerderhahn at 1010, arrived Voge1srath, Germany at 2125.

3 March 1945

Departed Voge1srath at 0915, arrived Grefrath, Germany at 1125. Settled here awaiting thrust and bridgeheads over Rhine. Division pulled back into reserve, relieved by 5th Arm'd.

23 March 1945

Rhine offensive started.

26 March 1945

Left Grefrath, Germany at 2105, crossed Rhine, arrived 1 mile north of Bruckhausen, Germany at 0740, 27 March 1945.

29 March 1945

Departed Bruckhausen 0630, arrived Zwecke1, vicinity of G1adbach at 1025. Division carrying right flank of 9th Army along Ruhr Valley and Battalion on right flank of Division. Division carried on against some of heaviest concentration of German artillery in this sector. G-2 reported approximately 1800 88mms along Division front. German resistance very stiff.
