COMPANY "B"
78TH ARMORED MEDICAL BATTALION
U. S. ARMY

For month ending: 1-12 June 1945

SUBJECT: After Action Report.
TO:Commanding Officer, 78th Armored Medical Battalion,
APO 258, US Army.

SECTION I   PERSONNEL:
    In the first twelve days of June, this company gained one Enlisted man, lost none.

SECTION II   INTELLIGENCE
    Negative report.

SECTION III   OPERATIONS:
  On 4 June we left Northeim, Germany, in convoy with Combat Command B, arriving in Rokycany, Czechoslovakia, on 5 June.

Relieved of our duties in Northeim by the British, we assumed medical supervision of a prisoner of war camp containing a division of German troops near Rokycany.

Immediately on arrival in Rokycany, the company was set up, with a clearing station, in the local Gymnasium where we have taken care of routine cases of sick call patients, venereal disease cases, and emergency civilian cases.

The company followed the battalion schedule as soon as it was issued after arrival and in performing regular garrison duties.

SECTION IV   SUPPLY:
    Supplies were adequate an easily obtained.

SECTION V   COMMAND:
    Morale was high, all duties performed efficiently.
